From the Principal

Dear Pepperhill Families,
We are having such a great year at Pepperhill!  We have been working hard with your children and helping them learn and grow each day.  Please make sure that you spend at 10-20 minutes a day reading in your home.  We want to promote life long learning and positive reading role models for our children.  Show your children how reading is important for all of us by doing this as a family.  You can read the newspaper, the mail, or a great book while your child reads the leveled text that they are reading independently in class.  Did you know that reading independently is still the number one way to increase reading skills?  This has been researched over time and continues to be the best way to increase reading fluency. Keep reading!  The school year is winding down and before we know it summer will be here.  Let's end well by doing our best work daily!
