Hello! I would love to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. Aside from teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends, going to the beach, crafting, decorating my house, Pinteresting, reading, and shopping for treasures at thrift stores. I got married this past summer to my husband Cameron, so I am a newlywed.! J We also just got a new puppy dog named Riley. It’s been a busy couple of months, but I am looking forward to picking up my teacher hat again!
After graduating with an Early Childhood degree at the College of Charleston in 2008, I started teaching Kindergarten. After two years I moved levels to First Grade, and just fell in love! This age group is so unique because the kids are truly like sponges, soaking up new information every day. You will be astonished at how much your child has learned by the end of this year. This will be my 7th year teaching at Pepperhill Elementary, and I know you will agree it is a wonderful school to raise your children in!
As excited as I am to get to know your student, I am equally excited to get to know YOU! You are your child’s first teacher, and I am looking forward to learning from you. It is imperative that we build a strong positive relationship, as we are working on the same team to do what is best for your new first grader. I am committed to keeping open communication with you at all times. Never hesitate to get write, call, or email me with questions or concerns.
I feel great about the start of a brand new year filled with lots of hard work, laughter, learning and love.
